PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head for hot melt ink jet printer which is reliable in adhesion of a tank heater and can raise a temperature to a printable temperature at the fastest speed. SOLUTION: A head for hot melt ink jet printer comprises an ink tank 8 for pooling a hot melt ink 31, a tank heater 9 for heating the ink tank 8, and a thermistor 30 for detecting the temperature of the ink tank 8. On a pattern of a stainless box where the temperature of the tank heater 9 becomes the highest, the thermistor 30 is arranged so as to always detect the temperature of the tank heater 9 and to control not to exceed the heat resisting temperature of an adhesive which is adhering the tank heater 9 and the ink tank 8. |
