PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the usability of a container for a cooker of an electromagnetic induction heating type by reducing the weight of the container. SOLUTION: A pot heat generating layer 14 is provided only on the outer face opposite to a heating coil for a pot body 13 formed of a reliably heat- conducting material such as aluminum 13A. Holes 14C perforated through from outside to inside are formed on the pot heat generating layer 14, an the outside width A of each of the holes C is set larger than the inside width B. The holes are impregnated with aluminum 13A. In addition, plural exposure parts 14B exposed to the outer face are formed on the pot heat generating layer 14. These exposure parts 14B appear by a removing process such as cutting. Thus, a joining member which would otherwise be provided for joining the pot body 13 with the pot heat generating layer 14 is no longer required and thereby the pot itself is lighter due to the decrease in weight of the joining member. Further, the aluminum 13A with which the holes 14C are impregnated displays an enchoring effect upon the overall joining of the pot body 13 with the pot heat generating layer 14 and, consequently, their partial peeling is prevented from occurring. |
