THIN TYPE PORTABLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and compact portable book device by providing a photoelectric converter on the lid of a thin film portable device and providing it at a position for generating power in the state of closing the lid. SOLUTION: A processor main body 10 is composed of a main body 1 and the lid 1' and they are respectively constituted of display parts 2 and 2', an external input key 3, the photoelectric converter 5 for an auxiliary power source attached to the lid 1', an external storage medium reproducing device 4, an external power input terminal 13 and external input/output terminals 14 and 15. That is, the photoelectric converter 5 is provided on the lid 1' of the thin film portable device and is provided on the position for generating the power in the state of closing the lid. For the photoelectric converter 5, an amorphous silicon photoelectric converter in the size of 20mm×300mm is adopted and the power generated by the photoelectric converter 5 is supplied to a charging/ discharging device. In addition, the external recording medium is driven by the charging of the power from an external power source for insufficient portion.
