<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the operation of a relief valve electrically and perceive the abnormality of an engine at an early time by providing a pressure sensor operated by the flow out pressure of a pressure fluid on the relief valve for opening a valve element at the acting time of the pressure of a fixed pressure or more to the valve element. SOLUTION: In the case when a relief valve is installed in the intake system of an engine with a supercharger, when a pressure in an intake manifold is increased by the trouble of an exhaust control valve, the valve element 15 of the relief valve 11 is opened against a compression coil spring 17 and a supercharged air is streamed in a cover 21 side from plural vents 18a of a spring receive piece 18. Meantime, the flow out amount to the outside of the supercharged air is regulated by a ring shape piece 21a at the opening early time of the valve element 15 and the pressure in a casing 14 and cover 21 is temporarily increased. A pressure sensor 22 detects this pressure and a warning lamp is lighted and it is informed to a driver's seat that the relief valve 11 is operated and thereby, the abnormality of an exhaust control valve is noticed and a corresponding repair is carried out.</p> |
