PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance excellent at high temperature by interposing metallic foil of multilayered material composed of stainless steel and aluminum between two outer layers composed of further thinner aluminum or aluminum alloy and pressure rolling the matter, and then heating at a specified temperature. SOLUTION: The first center layer 10 is interposed between two outer layers 12, 14 composed of the same material. The three layers are passed between a pair of pressing rollers 16 in a rolling mill 18. These layers are compressed with a sufficient force, the layer thickness is reduced, the layers are metallugically joined with one another along the surface 20, 22 between the metallic layers, and then a composed multilayered material 24 is formed. The composed multilayered material 24 is rolled from a joined thickness to a preselected medium thickness. At this medium thickness, by heating to the temperature of 900-1050 deg.C with a sufficient time, a uniform solid solution material is obtained, which is rolled to the finishing thickness. |
