PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the application of a single-sideband optical modulator until a tuning laser needed for a system can be eliminated or reduced by providing single-sideband optical frequency shifters (SOB-OFS), and giving a positive and a negative frequency shift to the outputs of one of a pair of SSB-OFSs and the output of the other respectively. SOLUTION: A light signal is stabilized by a molecular-beam lock or branches from one self-excited master laser 3. Plural SSB-OFSs are paired and each pair of SSB-OFS have a common light frequency input and a light shift frequency input; and the output of one of each SSB-OFS pair has the positive frequency shift and the output of the other has the negative frequency shift. Then the outputs of the respective SSB-OFSs are connected to the inputs of other many SSB-OFS pairs, which have light frequency shift frequency inputs respectively.
