PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic linear motor in which a stabilized operation can be ensured by improving the balance of pushing force with respect to a driven body. SOLUTION: A pair of engaging members 26 are arranged on the opposite sides of an ultrasonic oscillator 21, having an electromechanical energy conversion element and supported rotatably, at the base part thereof, by a shaft part 29 on the fixing member 28 side. The engaging member 26 is provided, at the intermediate part thereof, with a recess 26a to be engaged with the supporting shaft 25 of the ultrasonic oscillator 21. At the forward end thereof, with a leaf spring 32 the pressing force thereof can be varied by adjusting the projection of a resiliency-adjusting screw 33. Pressing force, acting on the pressing faces of the sliding member 24 of the ultrasonic oscillator 21 and a driven member 27, can be individually adjusted by the spring force of the leaf spring 32 through each engaging member 26. |
