FIELD: transport engineering; prevention of unauthorized use of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: under protection mode of operation there are no signals from pickups, and vehicle transmitter generates signals which are received by receiver of portable signalling device. In this case transmitter of signalling device operates as well. In case of unauthorized use of vehicle, signal across output of one of pickups vanishes which leads to switching off of vehicle transmitter. Absence of received signals in portable signalling device leads to stopping of its transmitter. Vehicle receiver stops receiving the signals and starts the to lock functional units through number of logic elements. Additional protection against to substitute signals generated by both transmitters is provided. EFFECT: simplified design of security system with preservation of its functional capabilities, and provision of high reliability in operation. 4 cl, 1 dwgy
