FIELD: production of refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: mixture for production of water resistant lime clinker comprises, mas.%: lime stone is roasted at 900-1800 C, 4.00-60.0; lime stone is calcined at 100-900 C, 30.0-95.0; additive, the balance. Said additive comprises, mas.%: cerium oxide, 30-70 and at least one compound chosen of neodymium oxide, praseodymium oxide, promethium oxide, samarium oxide, europium oxide, gadolinium oxide, terbium oxide, dysprosium oxide, holmium oxide, erbium oxide, thulium oxide, ytterbium oxide, 0.1-5.0; lutecium oxide, the balance. Mixture provides production of clinker having density 3.27-3.33 g/cm . Porosity of clinker is 2.1-2.5 %. Clinker has high refining capacity in respect with ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals.
