FIELD: cold sheet forming of vehicle body parts. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of arranging rigid model on table of press and placing sheet blank onto it; shaping sheet blank by means of polyurethane cushion; then disconnecting cushion and blank; placing flexible insert onto non-shaped joining radius portions of part surface; repeating shaping stage by means of polyurethane cushion; using as flexible insert capron cord, rods of lead or soft solder, rubber hose filled with steel shots having diameter 0.3-0.5 mm.
