FIELD: post-harvest treatment of grain to be placed in storage. SUBSTANCE: method consists in drying the grain moving downward by gravity and separating the flow into four components, viz.: spatial thin flow, radial inclined flow and inner and outer vertical circular flows, thus providing for intensive mixing of grain. Drying agent is fed in radial direction towards central axis at a temperature ranging from 20 to 400 C. Simultaneously, grain flow is cleaned from admixtures. If necessary, treatment of four different crops is effected. Device for realization of this method includes grain drying unit where circular shelves are fitted in pairs on vertical hollow pipe; these shelves are made in form of perforated bowls directed towards each other and fans operating in delivery mode. Vertical hollow pipe is provided with openings for escape of drying agent with admixtures. Grain drying unit is made in form of four self-contained sections.
