SIDE GUARD

FIELD: combat craft. SUBSTANCE: invention may find use both in design of new craft and in updating of existing ones. Structure of side guard includes external guarding caisson sectionalized over length and internal properly collapsible pontoon anchored on boom of craft. Caisson and pontoon are mounted on axle with the help of individual alternating linkages and are used to carry shipped and expendable materials. Caissons and members guarding pontoons hinged to booms are put into upper position for shipping. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of side guard. 6 dwga
