FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: grinding machine uses several parallel endless abrasive tapes for simultaneous grinding of several cams on camshaft. Machine has profiling head including several feed assemblies each of which has supporting block, its holder, adapter, ball-and-screw converter designed to press supporting block to abrasive tape. Setting jaw is made on every adapter. Adapters are positioned in two rows with adjustment for setting them relative to assembly base. Holders of supporting blocks are secured in position above setting jaws. EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability in operation. 32 cl, 19 dwg
