ACTIVATED CARBON PRODUCTION METHOD

FIELD: carbon materials. SUBSTANCE: carbon is placed into vertical heated reactor, into bottom part of which steam and inert gas are fed. Pressure is cyclically varied within the range from 0.001-0.1 to 0.107-0.3 MPa. Product of cycles number by maximum and minimum pressure difference ranges from 0.9 to 0.03 MPa. Cycles number is up to 30, activity by iodide technique 62.3-118 mg/g, activation duration 0.2-0.6 h, and yield of activated carbon 50.6-68%. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 1 tblt
