FIELD: device for fastening band ends on surface of compressed plant bale. SUBSTANCE: buckle has body with rectangular window positioned between its connecting members and adapted for insertion and withdrawal of band ends. Body has band end clamps fixed on opposite sides by means of flexible links. Clamps are provided with band position retaining parts positioned on their outer end faces. Inner faces of clamps are provided with shanks, which may be inserted into body window. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and reliable fastening of band ends. 4 cl, 6 dwgo
