FIELD: shipbuilding; methods of replacement of sliding friction by rolling friction of object moving in liquid medium. SUBSTANCE: method consists in periodic change of cross section of object in plane of frames by means of oscillations in elastic envelope embracing the hull of object. According to invention, oscillations in form of travelling acoustic wave having profile of cycloid are created on surface of above- mentioned envelope.
