FIELD: converter engineering; AC and DC power supplies. SUBSTANCE: device has bridge circuit with its ac input connected in series with transformer primary winding. RC bridge circuit is connected to AC input terminals and thyristor, across diagonally opposite DC terminals. Thyristor control circuit has low-capacity transformer whose primary winding is connected to supply mains input of device and secondary winding feeds low-power rectifier whose output yields thyristor control signal through resistor, low-power thyristor, and phase-shifting circuit. The latter incorporates capacitor, adjustable resistor, and two diodes. Control signal phase is changed by varying resistor value. Bridge circuit is connected into transformer secondary circuit for DC voltage regulation. EFFECT: improved reliability of ac voltage regulation on transformer primary side and both ac and DC voltage regulation on its secondary side. 4 cl, 3 dwg1
