PHASED-OUT ANTENNA ARRAY

摘要

FIELD: radio engineering; underground or trailing antennas operating in short- wave and ultrashort-wave bands. SUBSTANCE: phased-out antenna array is built up of set of rectangular modules interconnected through conductors and mounted over perimeter of rectangle that limits antenna array aperture. First sub-range feeder is connected by means of conductor 4 in center of antenna array to two pairs of rectangular modules 2 at respective points. Feeders of second and third sub-ranges are connected to respective centers of modules and to centers of planar antenna components forming each rectangular module. Antenna array equipment can be used three times thereby ensuring broad-band operation of antenna at relatively small space requirement.
