PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display system which can efficiently correspond to the demand of a picture on the side of a store and the like by selecting the picture in accordance with the attribute of the picture and the peculiar condition of the store. SOLUTION: An advertisement attribute file 12 is obtained from a POS (sales time information management) system server 1. Then, an AND operation is executed with bits corresponding to the same customer layer on the eight bits words of respective records and the eight bits words of the respective records of an advertisement object customer layer file by individual time bands 13. When numbers without zero exist in an operation result, advertisement object numbers corresponding to the records of the advertisement attribute file 12 are written into a display advertisement file by individual time bands 14. When the display advertisement file by individual time bands 14 completes on the whole time bands, advertisement objects corresponding to the respective object numbers, which are recorded in the display advertisement file by individual time bands 14, are sequentially converted into picture signals and they are outputted to a display device 3. |
