PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector for battery in which the location of a lead can be easily and freely changed and space necessary for a manufacturing can be reduced by constituting the collector by a metallic plate, one or more metallic pockets formed on one surface of this metallic plate and one or more linear leads to be stored within these metallic pockets. SOLUTION: This collector is provided with a belt-like metallic plate 1 and a belt-like metallic plate 2 having a plurality of semi-conical projections formed at fixed intervals at the upper end. The metallic plate 2 is stuck to the metallic plate 1 so that the projections may face outward by ultrasonic welding, for instance. By this constitution, the collector has a plurality of semi-conical pockets 3 formed at fixed intervals at the upper end of one surface. The collector is provided with at least one linear lead 4. The linear lead 4 is stored in a desired pocket 3 so that the upper part may project from the pocket 3 and is fixed to the pocket 3 by ultrasonic welding. |
