PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit information related to a display time for plural medium information included in a packet. SOLUTION: A reference clock 114 holds a current time and sends the time information to each of coders 104-106. Each of the coders 104-106 stores a time when data to be coded are inputted and outputs the time information to control lines 111-113 in terms of, e.g. a binary number, when bit streams 1007-1009 are outputted after coded. A multiplexer 110 has a buffer for every input line, divides each of the bit streams 1007-1009 into segments, based on the time from each of the control lines 111-113 and composes a packet by using the segments of the bit streams of the same time to output. The packet includes data of time represented in a binary rotation between a header and the information field. Thus, the time information is transmitted efficiently.
