A gas pipe consisting of a tubular metallic interior (1) surrounded by a skirt (2) of open-worked metallic wires and an exterior covering (3) in a supple plastic material. It is characterised in that the interior metallic tube is a ringed tube (1) obtained from a longitudinal rolled strip whose edges are welded longitudinally one to the other, so that they are deformed and end up as a ringed structure. The end connectors (4) are welded to the metallic tube (1).
