A cursor control mechanism including an installation or mounting frame which includes a holding frame (21) and a support frame (22), a Z-axis driver wheel (6) positioned between the holding frame (21) and support-frame (22), a grid wheel (1) rotatable by the Z-axis driver wheel (6) and positioned between the holding frame (21) and the support frame (22), a first metal spring strip (3) a first insert (23) and contacting the grid of the grid wheel (1) by its opposite end, a second metal spring strip (4) which contacts the central circular conducting element (12) of the grid wheel (1) and a third metal spring strip (5) making contact with the grid (11) of the grid wheel (1).
