PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive device capable of stably reading out the data. SOLUTION: A low frequency component of a tracking error signal extracted by a low-pass filter 11 is converted into the digital data by an A/D converter 18 to be monitored by a CPU 16. When a tracking servo is in an ON state, a command value is issued to an offset generation means 17, and an offset voltage is added to the low frequency component of the tracking error signal extracted by the low-pass filter 11. A servo control means 12 of a carriage movement controls the carriage 2 in the radial direction of the disk by using a carriage control signal adding the offset voltage generated from the offset generation means 17 to the low frequency component of the tracking error signal.
