PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the receiving state of a facsimile message or an electronic mail at a transmission side by transmitting a return electronic mail including a common mail content to a mail address by a computer device of its own system. SOLUTION: When a transmission side FAX number is communicated through a centronics I/F 24, a personal computer 20 recognizes the incoming of a facsimile message to a facsimile equipment 1, and confirms a mail address corresponding to a transmission side FAX number by a correspondence table. When the corresponding mail address is present, the transmission side facsimile equipment is a facsimile equipment 1 constituting the transmission side system, and a personal computer 20 which transmits a return electronic mail constituting the transmission side system is present, the return electronic mail is transmitted to the mail address destination of the personal computer 20. In this case, when the transmission side system is not individual but common, the electronic mail having a mail content selected as a common mail content is prepared, and transmitted to the personal computer 20 of the transmission side system. |
