摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an electricity and allow a light emitting element to emit light in a long term without an external power supply by electrically connecting a piezoelectric body and a light-emitting element emitting light by electricity, and applying a change in stress and a mechanical impact to the piezoelectric body. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric body 14 formed of PZT sintered piezoelectric material (10ϕ×1mm) is sandwiched by a pair of electrodes 15 made of stainless plate, and the electrodes 15 are clampingly pressed by a vice 17 with an insulative rubber plate 16 inbetween. A light emitting element 18 includes light emitting diode, and it is connected electrically with the electrodes 15. When an external force is applied to the piezoelectric body 14 by the vice 17, the piezoelectric body 14 generates an electrically and one electric pulse signal is generated at every stress impact. The intensity of the electric signal is proportional to the applied stress, and the electric output can be controlled by adjusting the impact. When an electric pulse is applied to the light emitting diode 18, an optical pulse is generated, and as the applied impact becomes large, the intensity of light emission becomes high and the optical pulse is kept longer.
