PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain introducing holes of the cover from being clogged by a deposit sticking to a cover for an oxygen sensor. SOLUTION: An oxygen sensor 20 installed in an intake pipe of a diesel engine has a sensor element 21 composed of solid electrolyte such as a zirconia element and a cover 22 having plural introducing holes 31. Deposit removing members 40 are arranged in the respective introducing holes 31. The deposit removing members 40 have column parts 41 inserted into the introducing holes 31 and disk parts 42 and 43 respectively formed on both end sides of the column parts 41. Outer peripheral surfaces of the column parts 41 slidingly move in the inside and outside direction of the cover 22 to an inner peripheral wall surface of the introducing holes 31 according to vibration of an engine or a vehicle. |
