摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deflect the stream of carriers in the predetermined relative direction and realize a corresponding predetermined circuit function by utilizing a controllable magnetic field generator arranged relatively at a specific position from a transistor device. SOLUTION: A component arrangement 1 has an FET device 5 formed on a substrate 15 and a controllable magnetic field generator such as an inductor coil 10, etc. The indictor coil 10 is so disposed that the generated magnetic field extends through an inversion layer formed under the coil. The direction of the magnetic filed is substantially parallel to the inversion layer and is substantially orthogonal to the direction U of the flow of carriers. Such a magnetic field generates a Lorentz force acting on carries correspondingly to the direction indicated by a vector F. The stream of carriers is deflected in the direction of the Lorentz force to produce a Hall voltage. This Hall voltage changes the threshold voltage and moreover changes the number of carriers reaching the drain region 25.
