PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a vehicle, whose discharge lamp lighting circuit case is fitted at the outer surface of the bottom of the body through a bracket, so that it may sufficiently secure not only protection function of the lighting circuit case by means of the bracket but also fitting strength of the lighting circuit case to a lamp body by means of the bracket. SOLUTION: The bracket 46 is formed out of a part having an outline of nearly U-shaped section with bottom part 58 and at its both sides perpendicular wall parts 60 and 62, and is screwed and fixed to the outer surface of the bottom of the body at the upper end of the perpendicular wall parts 60 and 62 in a state of a striding on the both front and rear sides of the lighting circuit case. The leveling flange parts 60b, 62b are formed at the upper end of each perpendicular walls 60, 62 and on each perpendicular walls 60, 62, the screw seats 60d, 62d are formed and at the foot part of the screw seats 60d, 62d of each flange parts 60, 62, reinforcing beads 60a, 62a extending in perpendicular are formed. As a result adequate rigidity and anti-vibration proof are secured. |
