METHOD FOR DETECTING POSITION OF UNDERGROUND BURIED OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a corresponding ground burial position by burying an information display by matching the directions of its dialing signal and a generation electromagnetic wave, moving a recognition means horizontally along the ground, and obtaining the signal output in vertical direction of each position. SOLUTION: An information display 1 is buried by matching the directivity of a transmission signal to that of an electromagnetic wave that a transmission antenna coil 3 generates. The information generator 1 generates a magnetic flux line 5 in response to the generated electromagnetic wave of a transmission antenna coil 3 and receives it by a reception antenna coil 6. The information display 1 is buried with a directivity that is perpendicular to a ground surface 2 and the reception antenna coil 6 is moved horizontally along the ground surface 2. A generated current by the magnetic flux line 5 of the reception antenna coil 6 is the strongest when the ground-corresponding position of the information display 1 matches the center position of the reception antenna coil 6 and becomes weak as they are separated, thus accurately detecting the position of the information display 1 and specifying the ground surface position with less error.
