PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous detection occurring in a former processing and to improve collating precision on an objective pattern where little lack (projection) which is recognized by eyes and which has no problem in quality occurs. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a dictionary size detection means 5, a four corners adjusting means 6 and a pattern matching means 7. The dictionary size detection means 5 is detected by cut size at the time of registering a dictionary. The four corners adjusting means 6 detects the four corners of the objective size which is cut, and sets cut size which is registered in the dictionary as a reference pattern is set to be an equal state. A pattern matching means 7 compares the object with the reference pattern, calculates a matching degree and selects the pattern whose matching degree is the maximum among four corners adjusting patterns. |
