PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the gap between a photoreceptor drum and a developing sleeve at a prescribed distance precisely and to easily attach and detach a developing device even without prolonging the distance from a pressing position to a pressure releasing position by regulating the abutting positions of a pair of abutting members on a pair of regulating members, so that the front side is placed at the position nearer to the side of the photoreceptor drum than the rear side. SOLUTION: A pair of the abutting members 63 and 64 are abutted on a pair of the regulating rollers 115 and 118 respectively. The abutting parts 631 and 641 of a pair of the abutting members 63 and 64 are constituted so that the front abutting part 641 is made shorter than the rear abutting part 631, in accordance with the diameters of a pair of the regulating rollers 115 and 118. Therefore, when the developing device 10 is placed in the pressing position by a pressure working mechanism, a pair of the regulating rollers 115 and 118 are abutted on the abutting parts 631 and 641 of a pair of the abutting members 63 and 64 respectively. In the abutting states on the abutting parts 631 and 641 of a pair of the abutting members 63 and 64, as the abutting positions, the front side is placed at the position nearer to the side of the photoreceptor drum 6 than the rear side. |
