PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for connecting and separating a developing unit to/from a hopper by which the developing unit is easily loaded and unloaded and a main body can be made compact. SOLUTION: A developing unit is freely slidably provided with a toner carrying path on a developing equipment side 6 so that the connection port 8 of the path 6 is freely connected and separated to/from the toner dropping port 4 of a toner carrying path on a hopper side 2. Besides, the port 4 is provided with a shutter 5 so as to be freely opened and closed. When the port 8 is connected to the port 4, the shutter 5 is opened and the coupling state thereof is latched. When the latch thereof is released and the port 8 is separated from the port 4, the shutter 5 is closed. |
