PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission equipment which doesn't prevent the normal operation of another transmission equipment part even in the case that a circuit for another transmission equipment part is mounted on a circuit constituting one transmission equipment part. SOLUTION: Electric/optic conversion circuits 24 of N transmission equipment parts 211 to 21N generate light different by wavelengths. Optical signals from electric/optic conversion circuits 24 are inputted to optical filters 111 to 11N of a multiplexer/demultiplexer part 220 through optical amplifiers 25. Optical filters 111 to 11N allow only optical signals, which have wavelengths peculiar to transmission equipment parts 211 to 21N, to pass through. Consequently, wavelengths other than prescribed those are not inputted to a multiplexing circuit. |
