PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple address communication type event notice method, in which a viewer receives notice timely by its own intention and useless access to a reply server is eliminated. SOLUTION: Occurrence of information to be noticed to individual bidirectional television receiver 11 is informed individually by using a television broadcast wave. An event notice program, including a television selection code to select the bidirectional television receiver 11 whose notice information occurs and a discrimination program to discriminate the occurrence of the notice information, based on the television selection code is broadcast in an independent form or in a form integrated in a part of the bidirectional program. When the event notice program is selected by the bidirectional television receiver 11, the discrimination program is executed, whether or not the code specific to the bidirectional television receiver 11 is included in the event notice program in a form of the television selection code is discriminated. When the corresponding television selection code is included, the occurrence of the information addressed to the bidirectional television receiver 11 is informed to a viewer.
