PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor image printer adapting to printing for business, POP or OHP by using nonoffset toner. SOLUTION: A paper feeding roller 60 feeds sheets of paper in a paper cassette 32 to a pair of stand-by rolls 57 with a pair of feeding rolls 59. A pair of the stand-by rolls 57 carry the papers with exact printing timing. A belt 33 is circulated counterclockwise in a state where the papers are placed, to successively carry the papers to contact parts with four photoreceptor drums 43. Toner images of magenta, cyan and yellow are successively transferred to the papers by a most up stream process unit 39a, a second process unit 39b and a third process unit respectively. Then, transparent toner image are superimposed/transferred to toner images after color development by a most downstream process unit, to be thermally fixed by a fixing unit 61. In the first- third process units in order from the upstream side, toners of red, blue and black of POP colors are housed respectively. |
