<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaking system which keeps the quality of a reproduced voice in a reception terminal in the case that a packet communication network is used to perform voice connection. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an originating station 2 which makes voice frame data, which is generated based on a voice transmitted from an originating telephone set 1, into IP packets and successively transmits them to a terminating telephone set 8 through an internet B and a terminating station 5 which receives IP packets transmitted from the originating station 2 and successively transmits the voice, which is generated based on voice frame data included in these IP packets, to the terminating telephone set 8. In this case, The terminating station 5 is provided with a buffer memory, where IP packets received from the originating station are temporarily stored, and a means which limits the output from the buffer memory so as to store a prescribed number of voice frames in the buffer memory.</p> |
