<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a harmful modulation becoming the degradation factor of the picture quality of a front pixel electrode due to a parasitic capacitance at the time of writing to a rear pixel electrode by providing fixed potential electrode lines having a prescribed fixed potential in gaps between mutual pixel electrodes to reduce interelectrode parasitic capacitances. SOLUTION: A data line 3j is arranged in between pixel electrodes 1C (i, j) (hereafter 1C) and 1D (i+1, j) (hereafter 1D) and a fixed potential line 7 a being fixed potential electrode is arranged in between the pixel electrode 1C and the pixel electrode 1B (i+1, j-1) (hereafter 1B) oppositely adjacent to the electrode 1D. Then, the driving waveform is performed by either of inversion drivings of 1/2 H by a data signal whose polarity is inverted every one pixel write period. At this time, since polarities of the voltage of the pixel electrode 1C and the voltage of the pixel electrode 1D are inverted from the positive to the negative and the polarity of the voltage of the pixel electrode 1B is inverted from the negative to the positive, directions of polarity changes of the electrodes 1D, 1B are canceled each other and a modulation voltage Vpp becomes Vpp=0mV.</p> |
