PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacturing processes contributing to cost reduction and the enhancement of productivity for a laminated type piezoelectric element used as an actuator or vibrator. SOLUTION: A plurality of penetrated grooves 13 are provided in shim 11 and bonded to a piezoelectric body 12. Next, notches having a width larger than the width of the penetrated groove is made in the piezoelectric body 12 at the position of the penetrated groove 13, and they are divided by split process. Moreover, a bending process is applied to the shim, shim 11 is divided, and a plurality of predetermined products can be obtained at the same time. The workability is improved by unifying the processes, division is made easier by split process, and also making notches is easier than cutting. |
