PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the still image transmitter that converts a picked-up voltage or a TV video signal into a still image and provides the converted signal to a personal computer. SOLUTION: A video signal is converted at first by a demodulation section 10 and decoded into the original signal by a data decoding section 14 via an error correction section 12, de-shuffled, a synchronizing signal is inserted to the resulting signal and converted into a composite video signal by an oversmapling section 16 to output to a monitor or outputted to a still image transmission section 18 as data of a luminance and chrominance signal form. The still image transmission section 18 prepares the transmission by a control signal from a control section 22. Once a video transmission start signal and transmission speed information from a personal computer 28 has been inputted via an interface section 26, the section 18 sends video data to the personal computer 28. |
