PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film board-type solar cell excellent in environmental resistance. SOLUTION: An amorphous silicon thin film is formed as a photovoltaic element on a flexible film board for the formation of a solar cell, wherein a heat-resistance synthetic resin film, which is 15 to 100μm in average thickness and provided with a surface whose surface roughness (Ra) is 4nm or below in center line average height and that has coarse projections of 0.273 to 0.546μm in height being at most 200 pieces per 100cm<2> , and projections of at least 0.546μm in height being 20 pieces per 100cm<2> , is used as the film board. By this setup, a formed amorphous silicon layer is protected against damage caused by an dimensional change in a solder cell due to an environmental change, so that the solar cell can stably keep a high performance.
