发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF ALKALINE STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline storage battery in which capacity reduction after the battery is left as it is for a long period is suppressed and a heavy- current characteristic is improved by little cobalt compound blending amount by using a positive electrode obtained by providing active material particle whose surface is nickel oxyhydroxide and cobalt system particle on a porous substrate whose surface in nickel oxyhydroxide. SOLUTION: A paste is prepared by mixing an active material particle 93 pts.wt. in which at least a part of the surface is made into NiOOH and a cobalt system particle 7 pts.wt. degree such as CoO with binder and water. The active material particle is obtained by oxidizing the surface of particle whose main component is Ni(OH)2 and the spherical shape of about average particle diameter of 5 to 30μm is preferable. A position electrode is obtained by filling or applying in/to a porous substrate in which at least a part of the surface is NiOOH and performing a press molding for the substrate after the substrate is dried. An alkaline storage battery is obtained by assembling an inactive battery by this positive electrode, a negative electrode including a hydrogen storage alloy and alkaline electrolytic solution including LiOH and performing an edging for the battery at about 40 to 100 deg.C.</p>
