摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for a road surface condition and a device therefor by which a road surface condition in an optional place of a road can be continuously measured and the road surface condition such as a wetting, drying and freezing of a road surface over a wide range can be linearly, efficiently, accurately and reliably grasped more than usual in real time. SOLUTION: A near infrared laser beam having a polarization characteristic is applied to a road surface of a road R from a light projecting part 7 of a road surface detector 3 arranged on the front side of a car 1, and its scattered light or the reflected light is independently received as a P wave and an S wave being orthogonal two polarization components by a light receiving part 9 of the road surface detector 3, and these received P wave value and S wave value, the P/S ratio by performing an operation, a preset P wave preset value, an S wave preset value and the P/S preset ratio, are respectively compared with each other, and are judged, and a wetting, drying and freezing condition of a road surface is measured.</p>
