<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the photosensitive colored composition capable of controlling storage stability, especially, developability and sensitivity variation without lowering sensitivity and the color filter using this composition by incorporating a melamine resin etherified with an alkyl group specified in carbon number as a cross-linking agent in this composition. SOLUTION: This photosensitive colored composition is composed essentially of a resin, a dye, an acid photogenerator, and the cross-linking agent of the melamine resin etherified with the 3-6 C alkyl group in a melamine amount of 1-50weight% of the resin. If the carbon number of the alkyl group is <3, the melamine becomes instable and dealkylated into an OH group in a solution with the lapse of time and enhanced in reactivity with the resin, and enhanced too much in sensitivity and developing speed, and if it exceed 6, the melamine is stabilized and rendered difficult to release the alkyl group and the composition is reduced in sensitivity and made extremely hard to be developed. If the melamine content is below 1weight%, since the composition is not fully cross- linked, it is made difficult to form image elements, and if >50weight%, it is made too high in alkali solubility and too low in a residual film ratio.</p> |
