PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an information plug socket, without requiring much time and labor by equipping this socket with a cover plate, which is erected on the built-in box of an opening and has an engaging claw to engage with and hold a modular jack, and is attached to the built-in box, while being positioned outside the wall. SOLUTION: The frame part provided in such a form that the front 10a of a modular jack 10 engages with engaging claws 9c at two places so as to catch the modular jack 10 from the right and left. This plug socket is provided with engaging claws 10f and 10g to engage with the engaging claws 9c of the cover plate 9, at both flanks of the modular jack 10. Then, the front 10a of the modular jack 10 is inserted into the frame 9a, and the engaging claws 9c and engaging holes 10f and 10g are set to each other, and the front 10a of the modular jack 10 is exposed from the opening 9a of the cover plate 9, and the front 10a is flush with the surface of the cover plate 9. This dispenses with the mounting work of a mounting frame and an adaptor, and shortens the mounting time. |
