PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech conference system which performs a speech conference among multiple points by incorporating a radio terminal into the speech conference system. SOLUTION: When this speech conference system 1 is on an incoming side, it demodulates radio waves that are received by a radio unit 12 through an antenna 15, and a controlling part 11 emits a calling tone from a speaker 14 when it recognizes an incoming call from a demodulation signal. When a user operates a communication button to be an on-hook state, the part 11 stops the calling tone, and the user can communicate with the other party. When the device 1 is on a calling side, after the user performs on-hook, operates ten key buttons of a dial operating part 16 to input the telephone number of the other incoming callee, and when he operates a communication button, the unit 12 modulates it through the part 11, radio waves are sent to a base station 2 through the antenna 15, the station 2 calls to the other incoming callee's terminal, the terminal responds to it, and then both sides can communicates with each other.
