PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for the color image forming device capable of excellent performing the temp. control, and preventing the abnormal high temp., in the fixing device of both side rotary body system. SOLUTION: This device is, consisting of a fixing rotary body 1 supported in freely rotationally inside which a heater 10A is arranged, a pressure rotary body 2 supported in freely rotationally inside which the heater 10B is arranged and held in press contact with respect to the fixing rotary body 1 by pressing means 9, and the fixing rotary body 1 and the pressure rotary body 2 are provided with thermisters 3A and 3B as temp. control means controlling on and off of heaters 10A and 10B, and thermal switches 4A and 4B are a safety device for making conduction to heaters 10A and 10B cut off in the case of the abnormal high temp. In such a case, the thermister 3B and The thermal switch 4B placed on the pressure rotary body 2 are fixedly supported by the supporting member 6 capable of supporting the pressure rotary body 2 in rotationally and shifting integrally with the pressure rotary body 2. |
