PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to input performance and sequence data of a musical piece with a sound pitch over a wider range than a fixed sound range by simple operation, even when having only a manipulator corresponding to a specified sound range. SOLUTION: An input manipulator 1 has a plurality of sound pitch designation manipulators corresponding to each sound pitch in a range of one octave, and inputs a sound high number corresponding to an operated sound pitch designation manipulator. CPU 2, referring to pitch information and semitone step sound pitch information on standard sound pitch stored in ROM 3, stores in RAM 4 the part data of the sound pitch number inputted from the input manipulator 1 in the part and newly inputted data of the sound pitch number, and determines a sound pitch to be generated in a wider sound range than one octave based on the stored past and new data to output the sound pitch to a sound source 5. The sound source 5 makes a sound system 6 generate sound according to the sound pitch from CPU 2. |
