PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance oilless fixability without need to supply a fixing system with an oil, filming performance, and toner powder characteristics using a wax, and moreover, to exhibit high transferability necessary for color images together with the above-mentioned various characteristics to high grade. SOLUTION: The toner to be used for the electrostatic latent image developer composed of a binder resin and a colorant, and the toner contains the wax in an amount of 0.1-40 weight % and the wax disclosed on the surfaces of the toner trains in an amount of 1-10 weight %, and the wax dispersed in the toner having a number average dispersed particle diameter of of 0.1-2μm. This toner is obtained by dissolving or dispersing each material of the resin and the colorant and the wax in an organic solvent to form an oil phase mixture and granulating it and subjecting the obtained granules to suspension polymerization. It is preferred to finely pulverize the wax in advance, especially, into the forms of thin flakes. |
