PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable inverse spreading by multiplying a complex conjugate to a signal and to attain the reduction of circuit scale concerning a spread spectrum system receiver. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a selector 55 for selecting either the orthogonal detection output of I channel or the orthogonal detection output of Q channel and outputting it to a path for providing the demodulation output of I channel and a selector 56 for selecting either the orthogonal detection output of Q channel or the orthogonal detection output of I channel and outputting it to a path for providing the demodulation output of Q channel. The selectors 55 and 56 are switched corresponding to whether the PN code of I channel and the PN code of Q channel are coincident or not. The output of selector 55 to the path for providing the demodulation output of I channel and a PN code PNQ of Q channel are exclusively ORed and this result is defined as the inverse spreading output of I channel. The output of the selector 56 to the path for providing the demodulation output of Q channel and a PN code PNI of I channel are exclusively ORed and this result is defined as the inverse spreading output of Q channel.
